Newly Added Safety Critical Highest Urgency

Removal of High-Tension Electric Lines from the Orphanage Campus

An 11KV high-tension power line runs directly across the Ashir Children's Home campus, with poles standing within the grounds where 71 children live and play every day.

GCM has raised this repeatedly with government officials and has requested relocation of the line, but progress through official channels has been slow. A formal estimate has now been obtained from a licensed electrical contractor, M/S Elevate Electrical Solutions, for the complete realignment of the 11KV line away from the children's living and play areas.

This is not a theoretical risk Children play beneath these lines. The poles sit in open ground used daily for games and gatherings. During the monsoon, when the ground is wet and winds are high, the danger increases sharply.
